ATP test, combining the best of ATP testing and microbiology

MicroSnap® is a unique ATP test developed for real microbiological rapid testing of surfaces and products. MicroSnap® combines the best of ATP testing and traditional microbiology. The result is a test that can be used specifically to measure microbial levels on products and surfaces, with results available in a few hours or up to one working day.

  • separate sampling/enrichment tube and test, enabling easy follow-on culturing if needed

  • results in a few hours (up to 8 hours), depending on microbial threshold limits

  • store tests refrigerated (2–8 °C)

  • designed for the EnSURE Touch -luminometer with a built in MicroSnap sample program

  • requires either a heat block or a small incubator

Hygiena MicroSnap tests can be used to test the microbial content of either surfaces or products. The product is AOAC-RI Performance Tested Method (Certification #031501). MicroSnap tests typically require a small commissioning validation, which can either be done by the user or purchased from Net-Foodlab Ltd as a service as part of the method implementation.
